  • Some interviews involve just you and one person from the company. At other times, you might be interviewed by a group of people.
  • Interviews can be very informal, just a conversation between you and the interviewer. At other times, they can be very formal, with a very specific format where all people being interviewed are asked the same questions. You may be interviewed several times, by numerous different people and at different times – Be Patient!
  • Be prepared!! Make the interview a working interview, you will want to interview the organization; make sure you have your well prepared question.
  • If you are being interviewed for a position, you need to put the time and effort in that it takes to be successful. It is useful to spend some time practicing your interview skills and getting advice from people who know what you can expect.
  • Don’t be late for the interview – do what it takes to ensure that you get there on time. Know where you are going - investigate the location of the meeting.
  • Interviews may encompass sociological and aptitude testing.
  • Always assume that your education will be checked.
